Facebook Takes Steps To Eliminate Fake News From Their News Feed
There has been much debate across the internet post-election regarding the impact of fake news on the election as well as the hearts and minds of the American people.
It should come as no surprise not everyone agrees a particular article is actually fake news. Snopes cautions us to make a clear distinction between bad news and fake news. Bad news lacks journalistic integrity where the reporter attempts to mislead the reader by weaving actual facts into the story along with personal bias designed to appear to also be fact.
In contrast, fake news contains no verifiable facts and is often used as link bait to increase ad revenue on the fake news site.

Blame It On An Arachnid
A year ago, a demon who had been chasing me for eight months finally caught me.
I was in Texas at the time, somewhere between San Antonio and Austin, attending the funeral of a dear friend and co-worker.
I sometimes wonder where denial resides. Because, even though I know for certain I was in denial, I was aware something was wrong. I knew the excuses I was making for the growing list of symptoms was bullshit. And yet I persisted.

The Release Of Seventy Six Falls Has Been Delayed To Spring 2017
I cannot begin to tell you how difficult it is for me to make this announcement.
You, the reader, take a leap of faith when you purchase a book from an author. That leap is riskier when the book is the first in a series. And it is even riskier when it is also a debut novel.
When I released Eagle Cove, I announced that I would release Seventy Six Falls in September 2016. As I began writing, however, it became clear to me rather quickly that I would not finish the book in time for a September release. But I felt confident that I could complete it in time for an early November release.

Do You Want To Be A Voyeur?
I decided on a whim to take a look at Eagle Cove on audible and found some great reviews. I particularly liked this one because it mentioned disappointment in the "contrived" break-up.

How To Record Google Hangout on El Capitan Mac For Audio Podcasts
When KA and I were planning the show, the subject of how we would record and edit the episodes came up. Since we are not physically in the same location and, even though the show is only audio, we wanted to be able to see each other during the recording, we chose Google Hangout as our platform. The problem, unless you use Hangouts On Air, Google doesn't offer a method for recording all participants in the hangout. So after some research and trial and error, I came up with the following steps to record Google Hangout on El Capitan on the Mac in order to publish our weekly audio podcast.
