The Release Of Seventy Six Falls Has Been Delayed To Spring 2017
I cannot begin to tell you how difficult it is for me to make this announcement.
You, the reader, take a leap of faith when you purchase a book from an author. That leap is riskier when the book is the first in a series. And it is even riskier when it is also a debut novel.
When I released Eagle Cove, I announced that I would release Seventy Six Falls in September 2016. As I began writing, however, it became clear to me rather quickly that I would not finish the book in time for a September release. But I felt confident that I could complete it in time for an early November release.
I've been balancing the desire to please you with a timely release with the desire to please you with a quality release. In the end, quality must prevail. And if I were to release on November 3rd, quality would suffer.
I cannot allow that.
If you've read the blurb or followed any of my teaser posts on Facebook, you are aware that the main plot of Seventy Six Falls is tragic, and I'm having more difficulty writing it than I had originally anticipated. It is important to me that I get this story right.
So, it is with a heavy heart that I'm delaying the release of Seventy Six Falls to Spring 2017, most likely in April. And I'm hoping only to delay the release of Moon Bow to Summer 2017.
I want to thank you for taking a chance on me and my series. The best way I can thank you is to release a book worth reading. I hope you will forgive my rookie mistakes and take another leap of faith when I release Seventy Six Falls.
