What a Great Learning Experience.

Well today marks the end of the garden.  Amanda and I ripped out the vines and and harvested 4 Kroger bags full of green tomatoes and about 8 other gourds.  Just today!  We were blessed with Squash as well.  And lets not forget the one ear of corn :0) So on March 20th, 2010 we started planting the garden from seeds at the shop.  So 7 months later we have been blessed with the experiences of  growing a garden from seeds and we have had many many many fresh tomatoes.  At the beginning we kept count but it became way more then we had even hoped.

We have already started talking about next years garden.  Thank you Carol and Darla for all the advise and believing in us.  It paid off!

What a great last harvest.  We estimate by using dads scale to have gotten almost 35 pounds of tomatoes today.

Tomorrow I will be cleaning up the rest of the yard and getting the garden ready for next year.

Peace,

GPG

PS.  Stay tuned for the gourd bird houses!  They are drying and as of right now there are 73+
