Our electric company

So being that in this economy I am one of the people that are living paycheck to paycheck and hoping somewhere to catch a break. I received a huge dp&l bill and sent them half the money because that is what I had. This last month I received one that was even more then the last. 2 days later I received a disconnection notice to pay the last half from last month. Now on friday when I get paid I will have this money. However the shut off date is on Thursday. So I call them. Tell them I would like a one day extension and they tell me no. In the summer they do not extend dates. Now I didn't ask them to defer my payments over the next few months which had I have thought about it would have been a good idea. I asked for a one day extension. You can check my files I pay my flipping bills. Maybe a day late but they do get paid.Don't have a history of not paying or a history of shut offs. So why can't I get one stink in day. I'll pay it as soon as you open...DP&L if there was another company i so would not have yo
