Gourds.......

So as the gourds are growing I thought it might be a good idea to hop the neighbors fence and see what is going on with the garden over there.  Well Mr Scott has a big dog and I am not sure what kind it is but I do know by looking at the other side of the fence that the dog has most likely been using the garden like a fire hydrant.  Everything that is in peeing distance is dying.  So with that being said I thought it might be a good idea to cut the big gourds on his side of the fence.  There where 2 good size ones that where really low so I cut them as high up the stem as I could.  They are bigger then the first gourd I removed last week. I have taken over the picnic table as the drying rack for the gourds.

They can get al the air they need there!  Sheltered from the elements kinda.  I guess I could put them out in the sun a few hours a day.  It could take several months for them to be able to be made into anything.
