Pride month...
As the Month of June continues it is a month to remember the people who have not only fought for our country in the many wars we have had but also the people that have fought for our civil rights as well....The right to be accepted as a Lesbian/Gay/Transgender individuals. I want to thank the people that stood up for themselves and there family member's and friends. I want to thank the people in my life for loving me and supporting me. I am thankful that we can now as a community gather and be a family....Alot of my gay friends thru the years were disowned due to the fact of their sexuality. I am thankful for my chosen family. The women and men that get it. As June is well underway remember that there are people in your everyday life that as gay. You may never know it. SO with that being said...enjoy who you are whether you are gay or straight or green or purple.
I am looking forward to spending the weekend with Amanda, Carol and Darla in Columbus. We all need some time away but most of all we get to be ourselves and just BE! Ladies lets have a great time!
Whether you are gay or straight is really irrelevant. We should accept each other as who we are take a day at a time. Learn from each other. Help each other. That will help our world become a better place!
